We have two suppers on the calendar for this summer on July 14th and August 11th. We'll make the food, set the table and create the atmosphere, the organizations (Bagaduce Music and Healthy Peninsula) will run the bar and augment our volunteer team of kitchen laborers, and you get to feast the night away. We'll be serving a delicious menu of innovative, locally-sourced cuisine in 5 courses, expertly served in our signature style of rustic graciousness, and we'll give all (as in 100%) of the proceeds directly to our partner organizations! Last summer, we gave away almost $13,000 to the Blue Hill Heritage Trust, At Home and Nichols Day Camps, and we had a ball doing it.
Reservations (which are really just donations) start at $75 per person. By start, I mean that you certainly can pay more if you feel you are able to donate more to either (or both) of these fine groups, they'll get it all! We will have 2 seatings each evening, the 5:30 seating gets you in and out--you'll be home before dark. The 7:30 seatings tend to be a bit more, convivial, maybe? There will be a bit more languid, repose following your repast, if you catch my drift.
In any case, all reservations are made directly through the register here at EL EL FRIJOLES, are paid in advance and can be made starting right now! Those of you "in the know" understand that our winter supper clubs usually sell out in about 45 minutes. These Sunday Suppers have quite a bit more capacity, what with the two seatings and nice weather, but don't wait to grab your seat--we sold out last year well in advance.
